" International Men's Day " Across The World.
This Year's Theme is
" Making A Difference For Men & Boys "
to Focus on Men's Health... Psychological Health is equally important & Neglected Specially in Men & Boys as Our Society Expect Men & Boys to be Masculine & So called Manly . It creates Huge Psychological & Emotional Pressure on Male in Situation of Extreme Stress as they can't express & cry being expected tough in Such Situations. Also in our Indian Culture Males are expected to run Families Financial matters. This accelerates ongoing stress.
For married Men , if their Mother & wife is having Strained Relationship, He has to Handle situation Very carefully that add more Psychological Burdon. Many Men wrongly choose Alcohol , Tobacco & other Addictions as Coping strategies to handle these stressful situations which again worsens their Physical & Emotional Health.
So Men & Boys It's Ok to be emotional & Sensitive , It's ok to be soft, to Cry & seek Help & if require take Mental Health Professionals Help.
It's surprising that Depression is underdiagnosed & left untreated in Men, Rate of Completed Suicide Is more in Men than Women.
What to do ??
1) Stress Management
2) Regular Exercise , Yoga, Meditation, Balanced Diet
3) Take Breaks despite Busy Schedule
4) Hobbies & Recreational Activities
5) Give time to Family
6) Attend Social Gatherings, Events
7) Speak out , discuss if feeling stressed
